It is time for a change and celebration

It's a celebration It is freezing in Helsinki but I’m glad to look at the sea while crossing my favourite bridge. I’m half way between the mainland and the island but the cold weather doesn’t bother me. The legend says that an inhabitant of this island never crosses the bridge without looking at the sea. If you don’t believe it, just pay attention to this when you sit in the bus and cross the bridge. There are few heads which will turn and glance the horizon of the never ending sea. Not many but few. Trust me. Year has changed again and now it is time to make all the dreams and changes come true. Two years ago I was in front of the goodbye wall in Brick Lane in London. I had a piece of paper in my hand which had two words on it; fear and self-doubt. I left the paper hanging to the goodbye wall amongst hundreds of the other notes. I went home and started to do things I was afraid. Like writing a blog. Like approaching a person. I also started to think differently. Like expecting to complete a triathlon as a winner rather than an average. I started to appreciate my ideas rather than dumping them down. Slowly my life and my world started to change. Looking back now I don’t doubt myself and I’m not afraid that much anymore. What do you wish to leave behind this year? This year you can make your life look like you. Tick tock, tick tock, time is ticking but you still have 11 months to make it happen. It is not easy to change you, your life or your world but now is the time for it. Time for 2014. It's a celebration While you are going through this year please don’t forget to celebrate your achievements. It is more important to enjoy the journey rather than reach the destination, as some wise person once said. The best way to celebrate involves good quality food and drinks enjoyed with the people you love. Please don’t forget to pop in and check Boolit.fi blog site to find out new ideas for food, drink and celebration. Can’t wait for my February celebration, I already have few ideas for it. What about you?

Simple things like a meal or a cocktail made from good and fresh ingredients makes me happy.
